Personality-
Traits: genuine, private, maternal, respectful, self motivated, a tad power hungry
Summary: Mirah is very genuine with her thoughts and feelings. She tends to wear her heart on her sleeve but keeps her worries and things private, preferring to focus on other's problems instead of her own. Typically she likes to put on a brave face and take everyone else's worries onto her own shoulders. In a way she views herself as a mother to her pack mates but at the same time she questions her abilities as a mother if she actually had her own pups. As a youth she was thought of as a go-getter and this continues into her adult years. Though it's often true Mirah never grew out of believing she knows best. This along with her desire to protect those close to her has resulted in her being a tad power hungry. She would never harm someone to gain it but she does think she may be destined by the goddess for something greater.

Likes: frogs and bugs, moonlight, friendly competition
Dislikes: blatant disrespect, spiders, bitter-root (she received this medicine often as a pup)

Backstory-
Pup-
Mirah was born into the Iutim pack. Her parents were two Watashi, her father a provider and her mother a physician. Being raised in the middle of the pack ranking she and her siblings were nothing special but their parents loved them dearly. Like most wolf pups Mirah enjoyed romping and wrestling with her siblings. As soon as they were able to leave the den she'd often disappear on adventures, chasing bugs and frogs, dragging a sibling or two behind her. She also enjoyed splashing in puddles made by the spring rains. It was a good thing her mother was a physician as this regularly resulted in her having a cold.

Juvenile-
As the pups grew and were able to stray farther from home Mirah only got into more trouble. She would run off whenever she could. Winter came early that year and the river began to freeze over, or so they thought. Mind clouded by the promise of an icy adventure she urged her siblings out onto the ice. It began to crack and she and two others went under. Her younger brother never resurfaced. Devastated as they were by the loss her parents still made sure she knew it wasn't her fault. They were foolish pups, young, and accidents happened. It was tragic but they would learn from it. This is when she began developing her maternal instincts and habit of keeping her problems to herself. The death of her brother weighed on her for some time after, even with the reassurance of her parents and remaining siblings. The following spring another litter of pups was born. Mirah enjoyed playing with and watching over most of the new youngsters except for one who seemed to prefer keeping to himself.

Young Adult-
As the pups grew and Mirah began training as a novice she took little notice of the odd pup. That is until she realized Matri Winor had taken a special interest in him. Assuming this could mean they would be searching for candidates to take the aging Araunah Jehoim's place she pushed herself in her training like never before. She was a compassionate young wolf with a heart scarred by tragedy but had learned from it. Surely that was worth something. This is when Mirah really started to come into her own. She would be ashamed to admit it now but when Casluh was announced as the next Araunah she was one of those offended. At first she couldn't understand but she trusted their goddess and her elders to make the right choice.

Adult-
When Casluh underwent the ritual of Linkiki's Chosen Mirah was right there with the rest of the pack. It was a solemn occasion as the now Elder Jehoim stepped down but she was celebrating Casluh. She had been watching him and had come to the conclusion that maybe his quiet nature could do the pack good. Now it did worry her slightly when he ran off right after the ceremony but he had to come back. He was marked. Linkiki had chosen him to lead. As physician her mother was with Jehoim for his final hours. Mirah watched as Casluh returned just in time for Winsor to give him the news. She couldn't help but respect the new Araunah as he said a prayer at the burial. Yes, the goddess had made a fine choice.

In group History-
    Winter 2018-19
With Matri Winor stepping down to become an elder Mirah is hopeful her hard work might be recognized and she might serve the pack under Casluh as the new Matri. During this time she bonds with her packmates and confronts her jealousy of Casluh, strengthening her relationship and respect for her alpha.
    Spring 2019
Mirah has officially taken her place as Matri of the Iutim. Driven by her new rank she works hard to find how best to serve her pack.
