(only exception is ~iduck ^^) i hate it!!!! it WOULD NOT cooperate with me!! *growl!!* oh well......it's still one of my better pics...but i hate it cuz i had something totaly differnt in mind....ever happened to you?? *sigh* i know the lighting is wrong {don't make me cryn_n hope you like it iduck!!!! ummm an if it's really blurry....adobe had some weird problem resizing this one for some reason...?? oh well...

LOVE THAT SWORD! Okay, now that I got it out of my system... It's really not so bad, though I know exactly how you feel. Yes, the lighting is off, but there is stuff to be commended as well. Though just out of curiousity, I'd like to see the one where the character blends in too well. It may be pretty interesting, especially now that we've seen this one.

wow i really wouldn't have noticed anything about the lighting at all, this is fabulicious! the chains are really neat. i'm not sure how it'd look but blurring the foreground chain that's hanging might give it that out of focus look. that sword is kickass!

Well, the shading on the pants looks awesome. I think it's weird that his body and hair look flat-shaded while everything else looks more rounded and realistic. It looks like you put a lot of work into it; compared to your older things there's so much more detail... Sorry you were so frustrated, but maybe one day you'll look back on it as a valuable learning experience.

Oh, I like the character. He's very interesting. The only thing I would have to comment on is the background. It is very good. The perspective is very very nice, but for some reason the character doens't look right in that scene. Then again, maybe you were going for that "lost-in-time" look. Either that or Guilty Gear-like. Any way, I like it, and the sword does rock.
