You hugged Sam close, shrinking into a stalagmite. You could cut the tension with a knife. It was palpable. Jack and Darkiplier just stood there, glaring at one another.

“I don’t even know why you’re challenging me. You can’t win,” Darkiplier stated.

“I have a few tricks up my sleeve. You’ll be surprised,” Jack countered.
“Jack! That’s not-” you tried to say. Your voice suddenly left! You looked at Dark. He had his finger over his mouth, winking at you. He put his finger down and you had your voice back. His power was growing back! Do energy bars really help for magical energies?

Jack grit his teeth. “Sam!” He yelled, extending his arm with his hand open.
Sam looked at Jack, jumping from your arms in the air. He glowed bright green, changing his form! He thinned out. When he was done transforming, Jack held a green and black Celtic dagger! You were amazed Sam could be so versatile!

Jack sprint to Darkiplier in the blink of an eye. Dark stood his ground, still grinning at Jack. Jack slashed at Darkiplier’s neck. Black blood gushed from the cut. Darkiplier coughed up some of the black ooze. But he still had that grin. It never faltered. Jack grinned but it was wiped away when Darkiplier started lifting him into the air.

“W-What the hell?!” Jack stuttered.

“I may not have much power in this realm, but I do have enough to teach you not to raise your weapon to your mentor,” Darkiplier stated.

Jack’s eyes widened. But then a frown came across his face. “What about your other students?! You fought them just fine when I tried getting (y/n) out of there!”

“That’s precisely why you should have realized that wasn’t me,” Darkiplier stared at him with such scorn.

Jack was taken aback. He was shocked.

“Y-You’re lying! Tell me why I should believe you!” Jack was in denial.

“Have I hit you, yet? I always let my enemies talk unless they bore me. You know this, Jack,” Darkiplier was getting frustrated at Jacks stubbornness.

“Tell me something only the real Darkiplier knows!” Jack said in a very thick Irish accent.

“You sleep with a teddy bear named Billy,” Darkiplier said matter-of-factly.

Jack’s face flushed beet red. You giggled, thinking of him in pajamas, hugging a cute stuffed bear while he sleeps. “I’m sorry, Sir,” he apologized.

“I forgive you. But you still have to be punished for raising your weapon at me,” Darkiplier said. With that, he threw Jack against a cave wall. His back bounced off and he landed on the floor with a thud. Darkiplier’s hand began to glow a dull red. He placed his glowing hand over the cut on his neck. Within a few seconds, the cut was fully healed. He looked to you.

“Do you have more of that bottled water?” Darkiplier asked.

You nodded and tossed him your last bottle. He used it to clean the black blood from around his neck and mouth. It seemed thick, almost like tar. He was really strong. And he didn’t even have all of his strength.

“How’d you get that bruise, lass?” Jack asked, suddenly in front of you.

You yelped and jumped back, startled. You noticed he was bleeding from his head. It was flowing down his forehead and dripped from his nose. “Y-You’re bleeding!”

“Hm?” Jack wiped his brow. “So I am.”

His hand glowed a dull green and he healed his head. He used his hoodie sleeve to wipe off the blood. His was a very dark red. He smiled at you and couldn’t help but smile back. You saw his teeth. They were sharp like Darkiplier’s but you didn’t fear him.

“We should get going now,” Darkiplier interrupted.

“Okay, okay,” Jack waved. “We’ll take Sam.”

‘That’s a better option than drinking my blood,’ you thought.

“Sammy, portal, please. I’m guessing we go to your mansion, Sir?” Jack asked.

“No, the imposter will be staying there.” Darkiplier was in deep thought. “My summer home should be fine.”

“One summer home of Dark’s, Sammy,” Jack said.

Sam opened up into a spherical portal. It was a foggy purple background. Darkiplier stepped through. You stared in astonishment. The background rippled as he walked through. He disappeared into the fog. You were hesitant to touch it. You felt a sharp pain on your butt.

“Ow!” you yelped and looked behind you.

“Just letting you know this isn’t a dream, lass,” Jack smiled, winking with his fingers near your ass.

The blood rushed to your face. You closed your eyes, held your breath and stepped through. You bumped into Darkiplier. He steadied you so you wouldn’t fall back. Jack came through and Sam, somehow, went through himself. It was confusing but you didn’t dare question it. Many things that seem impossible were standing right beside you.
