Description Made this one up last night because I think at this point all the "older" ones I had done are posted by now. I'm also re-watching Prime once again and I thought I should do another beast mode and Soundwave seemed like lots of fun. He was a lot of fun to turn into a Predacon because I wanted to keep with his general feel of very alien, so I kept him faceless and lanky and I ran veins across his wings and glowing marks like ribs on his flanks. I might redo this design in the future a little bit though, because I wanted to pull more inspiration from Xenomorphs, but I didn't want to take so much that he just looked like a straight-up Xenomorph because I thought he should still be a recognizable animal thing.

There's also something else I wanted to clarify that I don't think I have yet with this series: I try to keep plenty of the original robot elements in the beast modes because of how the characters receive their beast modes in this AU. They aren't natural Predacons, so they undergo a series of intensive surgeries and modifications both internally and externally to change their plating and various internal connections, primarily to the T-cog and their equivalent to muscles. Because of this, they all look a little "stitched together", some very recognizable parts of their robot form staying around in their new beast modes because they're unnatural forms. I also imagine this to be a very painful transition, and transforming to the new beast modes the first few times could be a slow and uncomfortable process given that, with the Transformers receiving these new forms, their T-cogs are built to scan a different form to turn into it, but they don't have the ability to do that with a beast mode, so they have a model of their best form essentially, downloaded into them so they can try to figure it out from there. Just a little clarification and some thought behind these beast modes.

Please do not use this design without my permission.
I do not own Transformers, all rights to their original owners.
