Those two were pretty much the first characters in my darling's and my fantasy universe. The picture is a bit older, but I think it is quite cute!

Wimbur is a Mocatsi (basically a harpy thingy) and Ash'Gar is a Koshnu (cat thingy).
To link them to their animal counterparts: Wimbur is simply a raven; Ash'Gar comes close to a mix of a white Lynx (Mother) and an orange European Shorthair (Father).

...I really want to draw something like this again, but I got very uncomfortable with line art over all this time. Sadly. Maybe one day.
