After so long I have finally uploaded a new drawing.
This drawing is called “Red snow.”

Whenever I think of winter I think of snow and snowmen, playing in the snow and the cold. However, there is another side to the winter. Once I’ve heard that the winter is a month people are more likely to become down. Like this guy I drew. He was already depressive, but the winter made his negative feelings worse, which caused him to slit his wrists too far. So in other words he committed suicide and made the snow red. I want to emphasize that suicide is never ever a good thing. If you look closely at this drawing, you can see his tears, which are tears of regret, but at that point it was already too late. There are so many beautiful things in life. Sometimes you just have to look a bit harder, through the grey of the storm. Everyone has so many potential. Everyone can change something in this world! This change can be anything, from making someone smile, to helping against poverty, or whatever you’d like to do. But if you decide to end your life, you’ll only make the snow red.

I’ve never been in the situation of being depressive so I wouldn’t know how depressive people would feel, but all I want to say is that it’s okay to be sad. In fact, I think you should be sad once in a while. Just don’t stay stuck in that sadness. Whenever you’re sad, just cry a river, talk to someone you trust, write it down, draw it, whatever just to process it. But after you’ve done that, try focusing on the good, the happy things in life. For instance, look sometimes around and see what a beautiful world this is. And you’re allowed to live in that world! There is beauty in everything!

Sorry I made such a long story about this. And I could write even more about it, but then it would be way too long. You know what they say, 1 picture says more than a thousand words. I just think this is important and I hope I can make people think about whatever they’re up to.

The drawing is made for a contest of a youtuber (and I believe she has dA too) MiddDoodleGirl The theme was the four seasons and I decided to draw for my second entry something with the winter. My first entry, has yet to be finished, so I'm not sure whether I should call it the first or the second entry... xD
I have don't know exactly how long I've spent on this drawing, but I didn't spend that much time on it. I'd say roughly two or maybe three hours.
I have used a bamboo pen&touch tablet and painttool sai.
