Also, you say ideas? A skiing penguin? A person throwing a paper crane that turns into a real one? A shoebill with a shoe for a beak? why were all of those about birds? I know that whenever I'm stumped I listen to some music (or watch some anime). Some alt-rock, Akiko Shikata-style folk, or electro with good lyrics usually does the trick. Either that or some songs from MrEpicOSTs's youtube channel. I could take the time to give some specific suggestions, if you'd like.
