We're doing a human week over at AHWPH and I decided to putz around and draw the Insecticons as hoomans. I do like how they turned out. :>

Shane was that kid who lit things on fire (buildings, pets, etc) and had a screwed up home life with no dad and an abusive mom. At 16, he decided not to go back because it wasn’t like mom was putting food on the table anyway.

When he was 14, Kris was dropped off at soccer practice and his family never came back to pick him up for reasons he doesn’t know or care about anymore. The next morning he met Shane when he tried setting Kris’ makeshift blanket on fire while he slept on a park bench. While the two got off to a bad start, to say the least, they became fast friends.

Byron was abandoned at a young age and sent to the city orphanage. He hopped around a few foster homes and got a good education out of it, but never formed any emotional attachments. Over time, he began tricking other kids into doing things they shouldn’t and usually walking away blame free. He began skipping school and spending time in the park, betting money with old men over chess. He ran into Kris and Shane when he saw them light a small Starbucks stand on fire as a diversion and then pilfer all the food from another cart as people rushed to help.Taking an immediate liking to them, he only went home one last time in order to steal anything worth value.

The three grew up scamming their way through life until they were old enough to join with small gang. Later, they then ratted out that gang to save their skins and moved to establish their own gang, pushing drugs and collecting protection money in their neighborhoods.
