If God and Satan were divorced parents then satan would be the cool one who would literally let you do whatever you want. And then God would be the strict one, saying you can't do this and you can't do that. Not a satanist myself but I support your decision, satanists get a lot of hate.

I'm not flaming you or looking for a fight or anything I'm just curious because I have a friend who's satanist as well.

I am an ex-Satanist but then again there is no such thing as ex-Satanist ones your in your in for life, why is not an easy explanation for there are many reasons why you would have to talk to every individual past, present, and those that have excommunicated themselves to truly understand the magnitude of why. I personally would say young, dumb, and looking for exception in the first place that would pay attention to me, leading this type of life is definitely not for all. Your heart becomes cold, your kindness goes away, and the person you once were is no longer there.
You end up in a horrible position doing unspeakable things under the name of a deity that could truly care less whether you live or die, in the end you lose every part of your self and if your lucky to catch your self slipping you might just save your self or like most just let your self go.
