"You're not the only one that feels vulnerable."- Shadowhunters S2xE7

Ever since I found out that Magnus's hometown is in the same neck of woods as where I live, I've been wanting to do a piece of Magnus art with a South East Asian spin. These days the Frangipani flower seems to have been adopted as a symbol of the sunny tropics on glossy tourist brochures, but I first knew it through local folklore as a flower associated with death and the supernatural. Not the most cheerful of choices for a marking a birthday, but ah well...

I tend to flit between Book Malec (smol bean!Alec) and TV Series Malec (smol bean!Magnus) when I fan art- I went for the former in this case

When I am not reading The Mortal Instruments (just finished City of Ashes!) or watching the Shadowhunters TV series, I am responsible for the story and artwork of 'Pandora's Scar'- an original graphic novel
which deals with the DemiGods from Greek Mythology and their issues and hi-jinks in the present day (natch).
