Description Finally got one of my tablets working with my laptop, and I decided to celebrate by doing some fanart. This is Kim Jaejoong of DBSK.
Excuse the boring background.

I think the hair was my favorite part to do in this. It took a while to get a good method but it worked out alright.

For the hair, I first made a general outline of the hair. On another layer I filled it in with a medium tone for the hair. On this picture, it was a light brown. Then (on a new layer) I took a darker brown and filled in some of the shadows. When I did this, I painted the direction the hair was going, to get a little texture. I did it with a blurry brush so it wouldn't be too defined.

From there I took lighter browns and reds and started to draw in strands of hair. I added in the blue and yellow highlights last. I don't use the dodge or burn tools, cause it messes up the colors.

This is a good tutorial. The method used here is similar to mine.
