I'll admit that i like xionbut I'm telling you that she's not a mary sue!!!
here's the reason why:
she doesn't have sparkles all over her. because she's normal she may look like sora but she's a girl! her hair is short (in a cute way) since the organization xii doesn't know where she came from, so they just call her "xion" she's mostly the quiet type, but she goes with axel and roxas for missionsthere you have it! but if you don't believe me go to wikipedia!
and i like kingdom hearts and all their characters including the organization! but i'm not a xiontard!
oh and for the Twilight stuff is over. no more bella swan,

There's a specific reason that Xion looks very similar to Sora, but the normal appearance she is in is up for debate if it is her "true" appearance. The Organization is fully aware of who she, rather it, is. Xion was originally No.I, an invention of Organization XIII soon after Roxas joined. The project was done by Vexen. This project was a failsafe incase of any issues ever occurring with Roxas, and as a potential replacement for Roxas. No.I is a Replica. She was replicated from Roxas, Sora's Nobody as we know, along with Sora's memories and is thus a Keybearer. Through this logic she is an indirect clone of Sora.
No.I does not have a set appearance. Everyone sees her/it in a different appearance, gender, and etcetera. A possible theory suggests that her appearance is based heavily on which memories of Sora's that the viewer is most associated with, directly or indirectly. Several examples of her appearances are Saix seeing her as a puppet, Xigbar seeing her as Ventus with a negative expression, and Xenmas sometimes seeing her as Sora himself. The appearance No.I takes on in front of the viewer can also change. This is proven by the fact that Xenmas only sometimes sees her as Sora and that No.I had the appearance of Sora in front of Roxas before. The most notable appearance of hers is that of the one we see her as, a dark haired Kairi. Both Axel and Roxas see her as this; if they met Sora would most likely see her in this form as well.
Sora is the reason for why she exists, while for literally existing at all is because of Sora existing, but for why she acts as though she has/had a heart at one point. The Organization originally made her as a literal puppet that did not have a face. Sora, as we know him well to, interfered while he was asleep when she was starting to receive his memories. Through him No.I began developing faces, and her most stable one was the main form that Sora gave her, a black haired Kairi. This was because of the fact that the majority of memories that Xion had from Sora were of Kairi. Through interaction with Roxas the form became more stable. It is plausible that No.I may not have all of Sora's memories of Kairi and that may result in certain points on her that would be different on Kairi.
Personality and attitude wise she is very much like Kairi, but due to the fact she is not related to her without Sora's memories she does have a few differences. She is made from Roxas she has several personal attitudes that overlaps with his, and she also takes on his form occasionally. She does have quirks from their complete original, Sora.
The project that No.I was created in was for it to compete with Roxas for existence; to find the one that was the most suitable Keyblade wielder for the Organization. In the process it also made the development of Kingdom Hearts go faster. The competing between her and Roxas was not willingly. The stronger one of them became the weaker the other did. They both in a sense had the same Keyblade; they were both the same person. When one of them gained a stronger hold over their Keyblade, the weaker the other's connection became. This was how No.I was incapable of using the Keyblade in the beginning of her existence and that at one point Roxas fell into a coma because No.I was becoming too strong. They could both exist in theory if they were to stay at the same or similar levels. The Organization would not allow this.
At the point in time when No.I realized this time was starting to run out. No.I remained confused about what would result for some time and that resulted in her acting disobedient at the time. On an early solo mission she was to find and defeat a person that was wearing the Organization's coat. She herself was defeated, and left, by Riku. During her near-year of existence she had memories of Sora's. Over the time of existence, her collecting the memories did not come to a halt.
Roxas and No.I had no memory of their lives before being Nobodies, surprised at the fact there was a time before that. Roxas had none because Sora still existed with the memories Roxas would've had and No.I had none of her true own due to the fact she did not exist at all in any "before". At the rate that No.I was receiving memories, she would not survive. On a visit to Destiny Islands during the time of her becoming rebellious to the Organization she was introduced Riku. Riku informed her of the fact that her original, Sora, would be incapable of waking up if his memories weren't returned to him. The only way to do that would be in No.I's end. No.I was uncertain if she could do this, as she felt she was needed by her own friends. The amount of time for her and Roxas was drawing near. She knew it.
A short amount of months later No.I knew what was to be done. Only she or Roxas could exist at this point. It would be the end of them both if they didn't do anything. So No.I did, and Roxas defeated her. This lead to the completion of the project. No.I then "died". Sora's memories came back to him. All memory of her began to fade.
Roxas continued on, he had already left the Organization a day before their battle. The conflicts in the Organization made him left, and his two best friends were heavily responsible for leaving. No.I's "death", her nonexistence, made him cut all the remaining threads in him that connected him the Organization. Roxas battles Riku shortly after leaving and nearly wins. Riku gave into the darkness to defeat Roxas, and he succeeded. Roxas lives in Twilight Town with no more memory of his life in the Organization afterwards.

They actually do in the biological sense. They have identical facial features.
While Xion has deep black hair and Sora brown- they have nearly identical facial features. The only difference is that Xion's lips are more prominent, probably due to the fct that she's female. In the similarity department they have the same jaw-structure, the same eyebrow placement, the same nose, the same shaped ears, and their eyes are identical. They also run along the same height and weight. The reason for that is realated to the fact of Sora's age.

Sorry, I rarely make much sense. To some it up- add a few tissues in Sora's shirt, put him in a black wig, and color his eyebrows- viola! Xion lookalike is instant!
