Description Enough of the sexy ladies! I know what everyone's craving, that's right, big hunking monster dudes!

So after the shorter races from last month, we've got a pair of big hulking monster races! starting, with the Oni.

The Oni are a very important bad guy faction in the KTS setting, they had a vast and ancient empire that sprawled over much of the known world until it was eventually overthrown by an alliance of Elves and Men, that Alliance eventually grew into the Imperial Realm that we know and love today. However the Oni did not disappear entirely, they were forced north beyond the Great Wall, and have been a constant threat ever since.

In their exile their numbers have grown again, and if they were ever to unite under a single leader, not even the might of the Imperial Realm may be able to stop them.

However this is unlikely, the race of Oni are in a constant state of civil war, with factions competing against each other for dominance and power. The two sides are broadly organised under the 'Red' Oni, and the 'Blue' Oni. Though only the Oni themselves seem to truly know why one side is red, and the other, blue.

Or another guy Oni, but yeh, these guys are monsters... quite possibly literally

Like a big Oni can probably arm wrestle a Troll

Just how tall IS that?

He's pretty big, the characters in the images are all roughly relative, except the Goblins, Dwarf and Halfling, who are sized up to fit the image.

So this guy is the second biggest of all the races, in fact yeh, last year I made a line-up of all the fantasy races in the setting to show their relative sizes, check 'em out here, KTS - Races Lineup

Well, if and when this goes wrong, where do you wanna be buried?

I don't, my will states to give my bones to a black smith to use in making weapons, and the rest are to go to mages for research.

That is the most metal death-wish I've ever heard.

Well depending on what you believe, using a weapon made of my bones will either bring you great fortune in battle or bring about a great misfortune. Either way I'm sure I will be in death as I am in life, a smart ass.

The death-wish became significantly less metal.

Do you have any idea how death affects different beliefs? Case in point the Vikings believed in giving the dead an honorable burial when burning a ship was not possible, but one Viking leader took their fear of trampling over the buried dead and used it as a war strategy. His final wish was to be buried on the enemy side of the battle field, so anytime another nation went to war with his people they had to face the wrath of that dead man. The belief was so strong that one enemy nation dug up the remains and had him laid to rest elsewhere.

So depending on which belief system you go with, I'm either helping, harming, being an ass, or doing nothing. And that's not even the tip of the ice burg of what can and cannot happen.

Trust me you want to look into the burial beliefs from around the world, you'll find more that you like than you didn't.
