About time I added another peice of artwork isn't it? I loved the "War Within" designs that Don Figueroa created for Dreamwave's Transformers: War Within series. Seeing that this would be Optimus Prime's Cybertonian form, it should be the form he still has while he's in stasis lock in the Ark. So this is a scene from Beast Wars, where (BW) Megatron is about to shoot Optimus Prime in the head in order to change history, only instead of Optimus being in his G1 form, this is his War Within form. I'm not completely happy with the coloring job I did on this piece, but I figure it's the best I could do given how much experience (or lack there of) with using Photoshop that I have.Related content

I've been waiting for this for my whole life! (Well,more like a year and a half,which was when I watched BW again and I realized that Optimus should be in more of a Cybertronian form)

I loved that episode, and this rendition is absolutely fantastic. Would you ever consider drawing Dinobot's last stand?

Why are Autobots and Decepticons bigger than Maximals and Predacons

The Maximals/Predacons are more advanced than their Autobot/Decepticon ancestors. Their technology has evolved to be much more compact, and energon efficient.
Sorta like we've seen with Cell Phones. Early models were bricks that only could make calls, but over time they've become a lot smaller/sleeker and added a lot more features.
