don't call them stuped they are smart for breaking into your tent because they just wanted to find some food. My family goes down there every year in summer and we love it, one time a ponie came into our camp (we always get a trailer) and took a big bite of our watermellon and it wasn't even cut!!! it was funny, we had to throw the watermellon by the firepit to get all the ponies to get off our camp. and i got bitted by a foal on my wrist. it hurt... those are my funny Assateague ponie stories. the ponies are nice and smart not stuped! I LOVE GOING TO ASSATEAGUE!!!!!

*blink* Well, when I am woken up at 7 am by shouting EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is stupid. I used to live over there. Born and raised on the Eastern shore. I'm sorry you were bitten by a wee foal, but they probably thought you were food or were defending themselves. Those ponies tend to get aggressive when you have food they want, and people are discouraged from feeding them as often as possible because it then inhibits their ability to find food in the non-tourist seasons. They are still wild animals, so it would be a mistake to assume they are all 'nice'. There's a reason they warn you about that when you're in the park.
