I KNOW I'm gonna get defensive comments about Metal Gear Solid 2. Please refrain. I am making fun of it. It was a rather fun game, but it was also extremely flawed. And I hate Raiden. And Rose. But let's not get into a debate on how MGS2 is. This is not where that goes. ^_^I'm pretty sure everyone will agree me with the DMC2 crack. O.o
I like this one. Dante seems like the kind of simplistic guy who would be all "I am so cool" and Snake would have to deal with him. Snake would be all ". . . . shut . . . . up . . ."

You know, DMC2 was playable, just pitifully boring. Same goes for MGS2, and you know, it's interesting how Raiden looks a bit like a Son of Sparda like Dante. I wonder how Dante would react.

Extremely flawed perfectly describes Ground Zeroes though not Sons Of Liberty. Heck I even enjoyed Devil May Cry 2 thanks to the atrocious reboot. So there's that.
Raiden and Rose got a major overhaul in Guns Of The Patriots.

MGS2 is the fourth game in the series. Maybe you shouldn't open your mouth on subjects you know nothing about.

It's the second game in the Metal Gear Solid series, if you wanna be so damn technical, yeah it is the 4th game, but look at the "2" in the title before telling someone to shut up.
By your logic, DmC is the fifth game in the series, that is true, but in a main series, its the first cuz its a reboot.

I didn't like MGS2 that much when i first played it, i left a lot of things unanswered. it wasn't until after i played 4 that i realized how brilliant 2 actually was. it was weird how a new game complimented an old one. everything with the patriots and the AI's was weird and not explained. 4 showed us how it all worked, 2 gave us enough information without really giving anything away.
DMC2, the plot was weak but hey its DMC. the Dante in that game is my favorite, he's not a talker and i like that in a charecter, he was a mature demon killer that you know when he enters a room any deity knows they are screwed. so when three game out and we got that young talking Dante....*shudders* i give DMC2 a better plot than DMC3, at least in 2 the plot was more original..
One thing in DMC2 that i thought was good but never came back: was the use of the Devil Trigger as a way of solving puzzles and traverse the environment. being able to run faster or even be able to fly straight up instead of just gliding was a good idea. that gives you so much more to work with as a game designer so i wonder why that never came back.

Nope Not only do I disagree with your opinion on MGS2 but also with DMC2. Dante was not in DMC2 for you see he was actually in Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne helping out the Demi-Fiend. MGS2 later got an update with a bunch of content that I really enjoyed.
As for why I like DMC2 to a small degree,so far it is only one in the series that allows you to play as three characters.
Still I can find this picture amusing even if I don't exactly share the same sentiments.

I like MGS2 fine. It's not my favorite of the series (That would be the first Metal Gear Solid) but I definitely think it had alot to offer. Yeah, Rose was just annoying, I don't really hate Raiden. Does he start off pathetic, yeah but he got alot better in the 4th game. He actually changes and tries to be better which is more than I can say for someone like Cloud Strife who starts off a whiny emo and never becomes anything more than just a whiny emo
Metal Gear Solid 2, not the best but hey it's still Metal Gear so it's still a great game in my book, just not as great as the others

It may be the second 'Solid' game in canon, but it is the fourth Metal Gear game in the canon. It was also the 3rd Metal Gear Solid released (Ghost Babel on GBC was released before it if memory serves after all this time).
If we take Ghost Babel or Metal Gear 2 as Solid Snake's second games (GB for Solid, MG2 for overall) then this image immediately becomes false as both where quite good for what the hardware allowed.

I've not played MGS2 myself but ive heard it wasnt so good... i kinda gave up on DMC2, well i played Dante's mission and was like... w..t...f... was that about? i dont think i have the patience to play the other disk @.@

I think I drew this outfit instead of the other because in DMC2, Dante's personality is all screwed up and I wanted to use the original version of Dante's smarmy self.

Not so much screwed up as about 100 years older than he was in the original...So more mature I guess...Though I do like him both ways, the DMCII outfit is better...I did a scratchboard of DMCII Dante in art class. It was sweet... I would also like to point out that you used the word 'smarmy' which makes you badass...That is all.
