Lol, I really hoped that was Mercutio!! This is a sweet movie! We watched it in english class after reading the book. --My teacher had a little to much fun playing Mr. Capulet during the scene where he's screaming at Juliet. It was scary, in a fun way.

I know! Baz Luhrmann has such a unique style - I also love Moulin Rouge. Aww, gotta love wacky English teachers. I had TWO of 'em back in high school lol.

Moulin Rouge is another movie I have wanted to watch! Jeez. I wish I had read this before I went to the movie store.
Instead I got Candy (with Heath Ledger--one of my favourite movies) and Heat (as you recommended).
I never really had great English teachers until last year--I made sure I'd also get him next year!!
