Last year I finally entered the world of Dungeons and Dragons after wanting to play it for a long time. This is my first character for my first campaign, human fighter Orson Stryde!

Full bio:

Class - Fighter

Race - Human

Alignment - Neutral Good

Age - 22 Years

Height - 6’2”

Weight - 215 lbs

Orson Stryde was born in the remote village of Kalus during the Astalean Wars when his father, the blacksmith Edward, fell in love with a young nurse named Miridia who workedat the Celilia Monastery. After the war he assisted his father, but still remembered the terrors of war and developed a strong sentiment of protecting others, especially his family and loved ones.

Despite his family's doubts, they allowed him to enlist at the Neverwinter Academy of Fighting, where he learned the art of the Lupus Warriors, the heroes who participated in the Astalean Wars. Orson looked up to them and their symbol, the Astalean Wolf, as a sign of hope for better, more peaceful times. He proved to be among the best of his class, and after he graduated, he chose to set out to explore the world, go on adventures, and help others who may be caught in conflict. He carries with him a pendant made by his father as a piece of his home.

I know this probably isn't a very exciting character, but that was pretty much by design - I wanted to start simple for my first character. He still means a lot to me, and I hope for the best as I play him in the campaign.
