Kandy-Kaned came up with an AU called "Pearl's Universe" where White Diamond influenced Pink Diamond with part of her controlling power.
This dramatically changes the fate of the gems were know and love...
Light Pink Diamond discovered Garnet and shattered Ruby in front of Sapphire. To this day she grieves.
