I rolled over my bed with a sigh. Yet another boring day. Sitting up-- well, more like slouching up, I turned on my TV. Ew. Go Diego, Go was on. Great. Even TV couldn't entertain me now.

Shutting the TV off in disdain, I walked into the kitchen, to see my Mom making a cup of coffee. I looked at her briefly, while opening the fridge door, but then looked into the fridge. Well, at least my dad made my ice coffee! Grabbing it eagerly, I sat at the kitchen table.

"Morning, Gwen," my Mom turned toward me, smiling. I blinked once in response, and she continued to talk. "How'd ya sleep last night?" I smirked. I was eager to tell her, but she wouldn't care about my dream. She would just be apathetic. "Well," I began anyways, "I had a dream about that robot agai--" I didn't even get to finish my sentence, because my Mom groaned in annoyance. "You gotta stop talking about those robot freaky leaky dreams, Gwen, you are obsessed!" I creased my brow at this comment. I loved my dreams, even though I had no idea what they were about.

Continuing my grim expression, I lurched back into my room, taking the phone with me. Megan would want to hear about it. Maybe. She always did like my out of the ordinary dreams.

After like a kajillion rings, she picked up. "Hi!!!!" was her quick greeting. Instantly I jumped off my bed, then back on. Whenever I had someone to talk to on the phone, I got hyped up. So, I began the convo. "WAHAHAH! I had another robo dream! YESSSSS!!!!" Megan responded with a quick laugh, and then let me continue. "Ok, so I was...on my roof. It was dark out, m'kay? Well, I was looking around, and it was a very clear night, I could see starts all over. Then I heard some mechanical clinks and some large figure walked up to me. He was so big that, even when I was on my roof, and he was ground level, he was still towered over me! All I could see was his...its eyes. They were red, but the left eye had a monocle on it. It picked me up and just as it did so, my dream went poof, and I woke up!" and it sucked that it went poof, because that always happened. I could never get close enough to see the robot face!

"Well, that sucks,” Megan said, and I blinked out of my thoughts. “Yeah, I know,” I said, smirking at the phone. How supporting. “Anyways, at least I was able to tell someone, I started to tell my mom and she cut me right off.” I glanced at the kitchen, which she was still in, and grimaced. “The weird things about the dreams are I don’t even know where I’m getting the design of the robot, because I’ve never watched a TV show even close to what the robot in my dream looks like!” I flopped down on my back, baffled. “I don’t know,” was Meg’s only response. “Real helpful” I sighed. “Well, your mind is…weird.” I could hear Megan trying to suppress a laugh, but I was apathetic to the comment. Yeah, my mind worked…differently than the average Joe, but whatever, that’s how I liked it. “Gwen?” Megan seemed a little panicky, probably thinking I hung up, offended. Rolling my eyes, I responded with “WAFFLES!” just to confirm with my weirdness that I wasn’t offended. “Wow, you’re really weird, but I love you…in a non-lezbionic way.” Meg laughed. “Yeah, okay, keep living that lie, Megs!” I laughed at my own comment, but ended up laughing so hard, I fell off my bed. “Ow! I just fell off my bed!” I announced still laughing.

About twenty minutes later, Megan had to go, so I turned the boob tube on again. It was 12:00, so something had to be on. Turning on MTV, I ended up watching and episode of Made. After that, I got bored and decided to nap.

*I was at Madison field, and everything was black except for the full moon and bright stars. I was alone, and scared; having no idea what the hell I was ding there. I wondered around the field, not being able to find the path, which would lead me back home. I called out, hoping maybe someone would be there but I was alone. Then, from behind me, I heard the mechanical clinks again. It was that robo with the monocle again It approached me with caution, every step slow but steady. I was frozen, couldn’t move, and didn’t want to. When it stood about two feet away from me it crouched down to observe me, I just stared at it. All, feeling of fear evaporated, I just looked at I, though all I could see were blood red eyes. We both stood there together, neither of us moving. It felt like hours until it offered its hand to me. I walked closer to it, onto its hand. The ground faded under me and…*

I woke with a jump start.
