I like how he's buff in Smash Bros and makes PS1 noises, but in the official 'remake' (Or teasers for it) he's kind of sickly looking with skinny arms.

Heh yeah. The Smash trailer had him sea sick, doing his 'Soldier' pose, stealing motorcycles (Wario's), and lots of cool little things that only those who played VII in it's entirety would know. I mean, he doesn't even slouch over and stare at the ground like some perpetually depressed emo dude. I'm sure you've seen the "Then and Now" meme of Cloud Strife, right? (They're just missing a dress...)
Although to be fair about his remake appearance, Cloud at the beginning of VII wasn't exactly supposed to be...healthy, physically or mentally speaking. (SPOILERS) I mean, he was taking a radioactive mako bath unconsciously for like...a while *cough*4 years*cough*....y'know...muscle atrophy and all that. Bet it does wonders for your hair and skin. And your eyes, definitely. So shiny. (END SPOILERS)
Here's hoping he's skinny enough to make a convincing Miss Cloud!
