Man, I never really thought about it, but-- Why did this game go out of its way to villainize the Turks in the first act, having them be the tool that ultimately kills hundreds (or more) of people, just to turn around here and make them goofy sidekicks? And in Advent Children they were goofy sidekicks!

face it Cloud, you're stuck working with the drunk.Β And if they're splitting up - does this make Reno and Rude, Scooby and Shaggy?Β Aw, and Reno looks so concerned about Cloud's bitterness in the second to last panel too.Β He CARES, Cloud, really he just can't help caring that the game finally has Cloud spiraling downward into bitterness and distrust.Β Which reminds me of how much I find the whole 'pffft, Yuffie's safety' in this whole thing.Β Gotta agree I felt the same way too.Β Really good job on the faces btw.Β Also - this was exactly what I needed today.Β So thanks for Cloud relying on Tifa to keep track of what he's doing, mini angry faces and stick legs and Barret keeping track of his dead with a tat - that's only going to get longer.

SHH!!!! I'm just trying to convey a sense of realism in this comic. You know, to offset the crazy that's going on in here! Though in retrospect thinking about it now, if everyone's weapons were to disappear when they're not in battle, I'd just love to picture a one-armed Barrett and a legless Tifa.
