I just read the Batman Arkham Asylum comic. It was ok, and it had it's "hey this is pretty god damn cool" moments, but what struck me was the Joker. I mean, say what you want about Heath Ledger –I think he made a pretty convincing "real" Joker and all that– but Dave McKean & Grant Morrison's Joker was simply "in your face"-frantic, and certainly looked like one crazy mofo.So here's my version, with some details from Arkham…, and some from The Dark Knight, and some from my drawing style..
Oh, and it's a quickie, hence the crude style..

I must admit that I havent read the comic though. but I've never really been in to "superhero-comics"
I just saw the dark knight though. And I have to say that I think they overdid batmans voice a bit.

Oh, but "Arkham…" isn't a superhero style comic. Quite the contrary, it's very unlike the typical comic, although it is batman..
Hah, yeah, I think so too. It annoyed me. I was wondering if it was supposed to sound like Bruce Wayne was wearing some kind of voice-fuck upper to alter his voice when he was batman, or something. I dunno..
Anyway, I had to buy the dvd here the other day, and though I thought the movie was pretty ok-but-not-great when I first watched it some months ago: Holy crap, watching the movie in proper quality plus some grade A extas was pretty damn cool. Among other things, flipping a semi for real is pretty damn cool, if you ask me: [link]
They put a huge piston inside the container that came out underneath that made the truck flip over. Aawesome.
