Description
One day, Leonard McCoy woke up, took a shower, then went to work in Sickbay; like he did six out of the seven days of the ship's week. This day was special, because it was the day where the Bolian ambassador was visiting the ship. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but the ambassador had a horrible stomachache and hadn't told anyone, so when Doctor McCoy was giving him a tour of Sickbay, the ambassador was forced to run to the head; the fumes were so bad that poor McCoy, who was closest to the bathroom, passed out, knocking his head on a biobed on the way down. The rest of the staff managed to get out in one piece, but they were forced to cycle the air several times before anyone could go back in there. McCoy woke up alone during the air cleaning, his head spinning and stomach churning; he managed to grab and pass the ambassador a hypo for stomach flu before losing consciousness again.

When McCoy awoke, he was in his own bed...no, wait, the captain's chambers, he knew that painting with the dead guys on the raft anywhere (and Jim really needs happier decor.) Said captain was trying to impersonate one of those creatures from Fubar 5 (who names these fucking planets, anyway?) that attack by wrapping themselves around their prey and hugging them until they starve to death from being unable to move, but McCoy never really minded it (although he would never admit as such out loud, he has a reputation of being a grumpy asshole to maintain, after all) and he decided to give his leech a kiss on the forehead and go back to sleep. Jim squeezed him a little tighter, and McCoy snorted (partially due to the fact he was having problems breathing now, but oh well) and closed his eyes.
