Squishy gave a shrug with his tentacles. "I only did it once and it was boring to me... They never send me on missions anymore. I... Interfere." His blissful smile did not fade. "My brother says it's so I don't get hurt."

"Oh, I just hang around in this lake now." Squishy said, looking around. "It gets boring... But I have friends that carry me around the place sometimes."

Squishy's eye widened like an excited child, and his smile grew. "Really? Really really? Like what?!"

"So... I could explore on my own?!" The tiny squid suddenly leapt out of the water and smacked straight into the kind stranger's chest, gripping on tight with his tentacles like a hug. "You could really really do that for me?!"

I smile kindly, amused.

I return, but without the mech. What I AM with is a wagon large enough for you, full of water. I pick you up, and set you into it.

I lead you into a huge warehouse, where what looks exactly like a humongous squid is resting in the center. "Okay...up you get..."
I put you into the mech.

Squishy sits there in the mech looking confused and lost, trying to figure out how to work it.

I gently place your tentacles into the slots, and a mask over your eyes.
*You feel like you're actually the mech now, along with the feeling of being massive and powerful!
