Original character from LA Knight 's fanfiction story "Once Upon A Time ," for the Hellboy fandom at fanfiction.net. The story centers around Prince Nuada, the human woman he initially hates but falls for anyway, and all the magical mess that it stirs up for everyone.
This character's name is Lorelei, a Rhine-maiden who owns a bar in Manhattan, called Fafner's Cave, and gets romantically involved with Mr. Wink - Prince Nuada's right-hand man, er, troll.
She's less than a century old, and her family fled Germany in the 1930s, just before WWII broke out. She doesn't know Nuada's plans to use the Golden Army to exterminate humanity, which is good for him, since she's got a thing against genocide, as you may have guessed.
She has aurulent eyes, subtly pointed ears and delicately pointed teeth, and like any Germanic faery, has a serious thing for gold.
Also featured in "Caves And Rivers ," which is a companion piece (also on fanfiction.net) to "Once Upon A Time" with lots of scenes covering the Wink/OC romance, and written by me with LA Knight 's permission (which is an understatement, she jumps on me all the time saying "MOAR! Gimme moar!!!" but I love her for it).
