I understand the way life gets in the way of art.

A few days ago I was on a roll working on the pics. I have the background done for part 1 basically, and lines for everyone there so far (except chu who will be added tonight!). I am pretty tempted to send you work in progress pics. Would you want to see them or nah?

Oh nice (yay~) sure that'd give me an idea for the background for the ones I'm doing, wanted to not have a repeat of last year where backgrounds were everywhere x'D

Well, I have to stop for tonight so here's my WIPs (bottom of post). I went with a more city-like theme because I'd like to think that evoloons are advanced enough to have buildings and cities. Admittedly the part 1 art is a bit over-the-top lol. I don't think it'd matter that much if they are in quite the same place for the other pictures. You could put them in a nature scene if you wanted and just suggest that it was outside of the city.

It looks good! I like how you put Chu in, she's making sure everything goes right, and this gives me an idea for the map reading one, and the 4th drawing, I'll get them started tonight so we can have all 4 done~ I'm having problems with the journal again, so I'll mess more with it too
