So Rebecca dumps this character on us without any explanation as to why half of her face is cracked. WHYYYYYYYYYYY

I'm overall happy with how this turned out, but every time I look at another piece of art of White Pearl they all seem to have done the facial features much better. I kind of got stuck between a cartoon and realistic style, which looks a little strange. I think this would have looked slightly more in agreement with itself if I had done the pointy nose, but I just couldn't get that to look right with the front-facing perspective.

I think more than anything I'm still trying to find my style and solidify my digital painting methods, and I'm a bit stuck in the transition right now. The instant I saw White Pearl though, I've actually been wanting to paint her with acrylics. I'm hoping that I'll have better luck with the facial features in that medium, since it's easier to sort of sculpt and mold certain shapes as you paint.
