As mentioned before, the closer Muzan is to Stocking the more her demonic urges increase. Stocking figured this out when one day while in a busy city, she saw Muzan, masquerading as a normal human.

Stocking knew who he was and didn't plan on letting him leave with his life...but something got in the way.

The closer she stepped, the worse and worse her urges were becoming. It got to a point where she was beginning to see the civilians around her as '' food ''.

When Muzan finally noticed her, Stocking was forced to run away to avoid hurting any civilians and revealing her true nature.

Because of this, until she finds a proper way to work around this side effect she has taken great care in avoiding Muzan and anything related to him. Least she has another one of these ' accidents '
