TAKING THIS TUTORIAL CAUSE IT'S HELPFUL FOR ME
And honestly, as much as you are being helpful to her, I don't really think she'll take it, just copy/trace it. :T But the skin tone thing is very VERY helpful! Love you so much golly gee!

I have a slightly scientific question.

Since we "see" color by light reflecting off of objects and beaming into our eyes, wouldn't colors be muted if there wasn't as much light to see by, like there is at night? If this is so, the original color scheme wasn't too bad.

You are absolutely right! That said, I derived color scheme numero dos by making a palette of scenes from Disney movies that take place in the dark. It does tend to look livelier, and it's still much less saturated than middle-of-the-day brights.

Awesome.
Yeah, I understand about the skin. I mean it really is a fleshy color, but when I use that dark blue for the dim light, the skin loses it tone of the real color.
Her hair, you're right. I should make it more wavy.
Actually, the canvas size I always draw on is over 2000 and the brushes I use are always 4px. Should I mold and shape the brush from a circle to an oval or something?

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Hmmmmm. I was probably thinking of my own mistakes, e.g., I ALWAYS use cramped, too-small canvases. If your size is fine to begin with, you just need shape dynamics! (So that the thickness of the line varies with pressure.)

If you use Photoshop, pick your normal brush, click on the Brush Options window, and enable shape dynamics with maximum diameter of 0%
