Also, Dermot isn't actually a bunny/rabbit... he's a hare! The very rabbit-like animal, but larger, fitter and more independent. And also don't breed anything near as excessively as wild rabbits would. So by that logic, Gerry, his son, is actually half-hare! XD
And his species (so often conflated with actual rabbits like his wife Sarah) could possibly play into the fact that he and his wife only had one kit as opposed to a puppy-size litter!
Also, I'm surprised you even included a link to my draft facial designs for them! I appreciate that a lot!
