I know what you mean, WHENEVER I 'try' to draw a portrait of a family member, I start it, and then...somehow, it turns into someone I don't even know! :/ So I get frustrated and end up finishing with something from imagination (not that person at all). I was reading the forums last night, and came across a thread about 'how to improve your art' or something like that...and one of the deviants suggested "Looking at where your weaknesses are", and another one said to "Challenge yourself to do the things you don't like doing, and you will improve". I'm going to take those tips and do MY best to improve on my weaknesses - which is basically everything for me Anyway, I think your portrait is lovely - sending you happy karma

I see what you mean and everytime I try to do my best to improve skill on portraits I get so freakin angry that I stop. and after a few months I try again and get angry again and blah blah and thanks!

oh thank you so much I hate them because you just need to be so exact and you cannot make mistakes. and whenever I draw a portrait the person on it looks like the opposite sex or doesn´t look like the real person at all. so that´s why
