This is amazing! The colours are beautiful, and the details in the spacey bit is fantastic! I also love how it still has the sun light to the back of the cat. I love the little design around the cats head and the black goo leaking out of it. It's all beautiful.

I wasn't sure I wanted to use my cell shaded for this, because I went to all the work on the background, but honestly it's a 50-50 chance the painted style will come out nicely. >>
Yeah, any interest I had in art died a while back, and has only recently reappeared. I think it's mostly stress from work, and I think the cause has been fixed, so hopefully there will be much more in the future~

You're very welcome! Ah yes, I totally understand what you mean - I swear the success rate for my digital painting is closer to 15%... :/ In any case, your cell shading definitely worked very nicely and I think it blends very well with the background you did. 
I'm honestly glad that your interest in art has started to reemerge, since I've noticed a lot of my old friends on here have been slowly fading away. Not that I'm really one to talk, though. Can't wait to see more!
