Okay! So last night I finally got to see The Desolation of Smaug in theaters ;u; It was so awesome! I was really happy to see it, and Smaug... Was... Amazing o-o Seriously! So freaking cool! I loved the way his jaw moved when he spoke! :3

Seeing as how I'll only have internet for a little while tonight, because we don't have it at home and I'm at McDonalds, how about a mini story?

SO! I entered into Erebor, in search of the one and only Smaug!

The cold stone staircase leading into the gold filled chasm was unnerving. A shudder ran down my spine as I walked slow, each step echoing seemingly without end. It was immaculate. I never thought to see anything quite like it in my life. There was no visible floor I could see, instead I walked upon an uneven footing of pure gold; coins, jewels, crowns, anything and everything I could possibly imagine.

There was a silence in the air. An unnatural cold nothingness that made me shiver. I knew what I was looking for, it seemed practically impossible to miss, yet it was hidden entirely.

Continuing a steady pace I walked over the gold coins, occasionally slipping on the loose uneven ground and causing a rippling echo to fill this grand place with the sound of clinking coins. And then there was a noise, strange and foreign to my ears. I couldn't describe it to myself, nor could I find the source. I had stopped. The sound seemed to reverberate all around me, it was... a rumbling. But from where? Behind me? No, no it wasn't from there... The rumbling persisted, increasing in it's volume until the very air danced around me. I gasped as the gold below me shifted and gave way, I slipped and fell forward, landing upon an unfamiliar surface. It seemed to vibrate, with the same effect as the rumbling. It hit me then. I knew what it was I hand landed upon, even before it raised upward, high above the golden ground below. I had found what I was looking for.

I let a gasp escape my throat.

"OH! H-Hello, S-Smaug!" I said with a stutter, turning back to stare upon the fiery eyes.

Meh, I usually don't write in first person XD I prefer third, but hey, It sort of made more sense here! SO! There you go, a random, shitty short-story because... why not! That's the story of mine picture -u-
