omg! The branding guy looks like Dr. Evil! And that has to be the Burger Kings evil twin holding her!

The creepy staring Burger King will save her though! Not sure if that's exactly a good thing either .. but better than what's currently going on!

More great characters, although I wince thinking about that beautiful flesh being so marred... The look on branding-iron-guy's face is delicious.

Hahahahaha...thanks, Jeff--another taken straight from your pages--so thank you, again! I love your "paneling" arrangements on your work. It's not like the normal hum drum. It sorta reminds me of some of the pioneering work that influenced me back in the day from Frank Miller and John Byrne.

(Sigh) there I go again talking about YOUR work on MY comment section. LOL. Oh well, I guess it's kind of appropriate considering your art is The Sunflower's main inspiration.

It is flattering, of course. Frank Miller was not a big influence of mine, but John Byrne was one of the main ones, both as a storyteller and an artist.

Yeah, I'm a bit old school. I remember buying his first issue when he took over the art (and maybe even the storytelling) for the Fantastic Four. I'm showing my age! LOL. His work was always so sophisticated and detailed. he blew my mind. Good stuff indeed.

Yup, I remember the Byrne run through the Fantastic Four and even the later issues of his X-men run. They were great, and quite influential in my own life (as a storyteller and an artist). Hooray for "old school"!

Ooh, I feel so sorry for the sweetsexy girl. Please tell my some knight named "K" something showed up in a black stallion and saved her....!

"K" as in "Kaledrub "

Hahahahaha...I am an awful writer! LOL. It would come out cheesier than my art! But the main plot is about a girl who gets accused of witchcraft. I was originally intending to do a dozen so of these explaining what happens to this girl, but it would have deviated from the series, so i scraped it here just for you! Stay tuned, I think I will post more of this outtakes with this same girl, soon. Thank you much!

Guys? That's weird!

This character interaction has me pining for more, since your typical subject matter focuses on one individual, normally. Even posing two people together opens up a whole new world of interesting negative space and compound forms!

Oh my, listen to how I ramble on about it.

You're right...I want to do more of this kind of art. As a matter of fact, I'll be doing more of it in my next series, but for this series, I didn't want it to over power the single female subject matter that dominates The Sunflower series, so I scraped it just for you!

So do you like?

jonathanvair In reply to odavis [2008-12-29 04:17:14 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I do. Sorry if I didn't convey that well. It was different enough that I was so busy mentioning something I liked as unusual, rather than pointing out that I liked it. Regardless, I do like it, and it means a lot to me that you'd even care if I like it or not.

You surely know how to make me feel loved!

That's because your opinion means a lot to me and you make me feel loved.
