It was very likely meant as a figure of speech. A lot of older people use son when talking to younger kids. Secondly, in the novel Death saves the Strawberry it's explained that Isshin's engetsu served as base for the sword on which other shinigami imprinted their reiatsu to reignite Ichigo's powers, because of its similarity. Bach could be family, but it's not very likely that he's Ichigo's father. Perhaps grandfather.

yes probably its grandad, but I made this for laugh, not other purpose (there's troll-sama thinking about that) and I actually intended "my son" as it sounds just because when i read it, the italian translators kept it literally intended. In any case I would have done this panel because i recognize the same traumatic situation.
