Description Explorers Journal Entry #67
"Many centuries ago the Jwaani tribesmen of the Blue Plains hunted the Clavoozandy to the brink of extinction, primarily for the tender meat of their hind legs.
To counter this the Clavoozandy eventually evolved to have no hind legs at all. This now meant that their large, spherical abdomen would drag painfully across the ground.
The more enlightened modern Jwaani tribes people, feeling guilt for what their ancestors had caused, developed a special harness to protect the beasts from their uncomfortable fate,
and so the familiar site of the Clavoozandy and rider was born."
