One hour passed, then two hours, and no sign was that of Ariel's return. Now Attina began to worry. And when it was just three hours before their time to wake up and go to their father Attina lost her nerves.
"ARIEL'S GONE!!!" she screamed. Everybody woke up.
"Attina, what you..?" Andrina began but Attina interrupted her.
"Ariel's gone... She's gone forever..." said Attina ruefully.
"Did she leave this?" Alana asked, seeing the flower on oldest sister's palms.
"Ye... Yes..." Attina answered with lump in her throat. She remembered the horrible words that she said to Ariel after her confronting with Triton: "You are always angering our father"
"We must find her!" Arista said stoutly.
"But what can we do? She could go wherever..." Adella began.
"Then we will stop mourning and devide into copules to find Ariel. After all, she is our sister!" Arista answered in the same tone. She was never be so serious as now.
"Arista is right," said Andrina, taking Attina's shoulders.
"Alana, you know, girls, I could stay here to distract Benjamin's attention. You know, I CAN do it easily."
"All right. Andrina, you go with me, Aquata will go with Arista, and Adella..." Attina bit her lip.
"No, girls, I'll go alone by myself. Adella will go with Aquata," Arista said. Everybody widened their eyes.
"But..." Attina began.
"No "buts"! We must hurry up." Arista commanded and swam from the window. Other sisters, shocking by Arista's behavior, stared after her...
