was doing a challenge with a rainbow palette drawing up my favorite characters currently.got a bit bored with the format near the end, hence why the last 8 are done differently composition wise.
It was originally 20 characters, but Darwin snuck his way in given how easy kirby was to draw and I wanted to squeeze darwin in somehow with how much I've been enjoying him lately.
Characters and named and series are around but most of them, but I'll list them here anyway.

10. Yusuke Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho

not a huge fan of how some of these turned out, but that's how daily challenges can go, and glad I did it helped me consider a lot of characters more seriously and think upon why I like them. I limited things to 1 character per series so a few series wouldn't dominate this.
I can go more in depth about why if you're curious about any of the choices. apologies if I haven't been too social lately on here.

Beelzemon was epic! Digimon Tamers is surely my favorite season from the Digimon franchise.

for sure, I really love Digimon Tamers the best and the great plot structure to it along with the characters. if only Beelzemon's figma wasn't so hard to find.

Oooh, some solid choices! And reminding me of some characters from series I haven't enjoyed in a long long time. I love how you incorporated the colours into each character naturally, and stuck to black and white for the rest.

thanks, I do like how it became a combo of old school as well as newer stuff, shows many series have still aged fairly well, and that the choices aren't just impulsive based on what's hot at the time. the color thing worked out fairly well, thanks. some of the colors are a bit more forced than others since I needed each one to be in a different spectrum, but overall it mostly worked out.

Oh, yes about the colour thing matching the characters but also, like, the selective use of where to put colour on the character, and where to use B&W. I dunno, I just always appreciated that sort of decision making and I think they all work really well here. ovob

it's just in that balancing them out, glad you like how that worked out.
I tend to work with smaller color palettes more, and with solid colors, so color balance is more vital to the piece working.
