She's actually been in my sketchbook for a year or two.
I'm only somewhat happy with the design of her pjs(which I've been struggling with the whole time,I went with a circus theme if you can't tell), but I'm mostly glad she's finally on here!

She was really happy that she would be having a younger sibling to take care of, since her mother is pregnant. She wanted to share nearly everything with her baby brother/sister, especially her love of Elephants. She sometimes carry peanuts in her pockets, in case she might ever meet one.
But after a few days Ellie died in her sleep in a house fire, from smoke inhalation. Her parents wasn't able to get to her in time, her room was cut off by rubble. The firefighters managed to get her out but she's already gone.
In Guinee, (spirit world) she was then "dug" up from her "grave" by Baron Samedi. He explained to her what happened, and she should pass on to the Afterlife , like any confused and scared child, she started crying. She told him she just wanted to go home, but he isn't able to do that.

Her time is over.

Samedi was just about to take her hand and lead her to the Afterlife. Ellie then began screaming that she doesn't want to go, not until her younger sibling is born. Hoping then they could be a whole family once more before she passes on.
In time Samedi agrees, but only that she would stay with Anneva, since where he works isn't really kid friendly.

Sorry I'm really lame when it comes to storytelling.
I'll be able to draw Anneva later on.
I like to think that Ellie is able to to see her family from the afterlife, it's just that Samedi doesn't want to put her tantrum to waste. Also that Anneva could use some company.
Ellie may tag along with Samedi sometimes. He may be a perverted god, but he really cares about the well being of kids, he tries to be a good model for them.
