Description Lee stared at the girl...no, the woman...in his arms, feeling like someone had just kicked him in the chest. She couldn't be serious. She was really going to leave him? Because her father had told her to? "But...but what...what about..."

Tears streamed down her face, silver rivers in the cool autumn breeze. "It was a dream, Lee," Hinata muttered, biting back a sob. "A beautiful dream, but it has to end, like the rest."

He stepped forward, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead, not moving his lips away as he whispered, "I'm not ready to wake up yet, Hinata, and neither are you."

Lee gets away with saying sappy things, because he is Lee.

....Yeeees, more LeeHina. Deal with it, I love this pairing.

Lee and Hinata (c) Kishimoto, who really needs to realize they're meant to be.

Glad you like it! I love drawing Lee's hair, as a general rule.

*beats Hinata's father with a brick and lead laced bat* YOU JERK! AHHH! That man frustrates me! Anyways, awesome job. So sad, but I love it. You really can see how torn they both are in the picture. Hinata's almost trying to push Lee away, but Lee won't let her go. I love the look on his face. Beautiful work.

Aw, I love Hiashi. I just think that, at this point, the man isn't willing to change traditions he's already lost so much for.

I'm glad that you like it. I had a ridiculous amount of fun with it. These two inspire me, and I looooooove to draw them.

I think he just frustrates me for some reason. Don't know why. XD But I see where you're coming from. It's like that whole thing with math in school. We have to go and suffer through it because our teachers and parents did.

Well I love how you draw them!

LOL! Never heard that about math, but I like it. And yes, something like that. I think he wants it to change, in his own way, but knows he lacks any real power to do anything. He certainly let Neji get away with a heck of a lot.

Thank you .

I don't know if I ever heard it about math specifically, but I heard it applied to school a few times in comic strips. XD AHhh, ok. Probably loosing his brother was a kick in the butt to show him that things needed to change to. So if he doesn't really have the power, who does? Do the elders have the real power?

That's true. Wonder if it was out of guilt for what his brother did. *shrugs*

You're welcome!

That's what I think and understand, anyway. They certainly seemed to when they ordered him to sacrifice Hizashi.

I think that was part of it. He never did get to say he was sorry. I think doing as much as he can to help Neji is his way of making up for how powerless he was to help his brother.
