Description This one is my absolute favorite piece. I found this extremely rare huge teal blue piece on the coast. I originally did this with silver colored wire, but I think the copper suits it better.

I made a spiral drop with a Swarovski pearl and a crystal AB bicone. I'm mad at myself because I originally had a nice crystal teardrop, but I broke it when I formed the bail. I ALWAYS do that, whenever I try to neaten up the wire tips, I snap the bead clean where the hole is. >(

Thank you! I'm glad you like it! ^^ I'm also glad you agree about the copper, it didn't look as nice with the silver.

wow, I've never found a piece that round before, that's super cool. nice colour too. I have horrible trouble with bails too, heheh.

I know, I was ecstatic when I found it. I think it's a pretty rare color and shape. I'd love to get my hands on some purple ones. I've even seen some that are UV reactive

ooh, that sounds awesome. I still haven't found anything that isn't green, brown, pale green, or white. I found a bit of pottery once, but it isn't really useable, too big. I did find a couple bricks once too, which was cool!

Too big? I've seen a lot of large focal pieces of pottery wrapped and used as pendants. Or you could always break it to make it a nicer shape. A lot of people break 1$ china they buy from garage sales and wrap it.

how do they get rid of the sharp edges?

when I say big, I mean, it fills my hand, hehe, it's the bottom of some kind of cup.

I would imagine some sort of sanding or polishing technique.
