So, I played Amnesia again for the first time in ages. Two things happened: One, I had the urge to draw some fanart, so I did, and two... I remembered just how awesome of a character Daniel is.
I mean... he's rather sympathetic, isn't he? He WAS a pretty average guy, at least aside from the reactions to his mental/physical abuse as a child. The reason he went insane in the first place wasn't his own fault, he just happened to be a sorry fellow in the wrong place in the wrong time. This swept him up in events he couldn't fathom, corrupted him with a power he couldn't control and swallowed him in a fear he couldn't handle. When he eventually realized all that he'd done, it was so much that he'd decided he'd much rather forget everything he'd ever known than carry on doing Alexander's bidding. I felt rather sorry for him knowing that he was that gullible, and despite the fact that he gets to be kind of a dipshit and a coward throughout the game, it still made me want to keep him alive to see what his fate would end up being. That's genius writing if you ask me.
OR MAYBE I'M READING INTO IT TOO MUCH LOL
I just like Frictional Games, ahahahha....

Anyway. Yeah. If it's too dark to see, please tell me, 'cause I have a lighter image that looks a bit nicer. Also tell me if I should put a warning on this. I don't think it's that bad, but you know, just in case...
