HIPPOSTERO (Rock/Ground): The Pokemon Spike. In arid lands it is common to find stone spikes out of the ground, but it can be dangerous to approach one of these because they may be parts of this Pokemon that hides under the ground in search of colder temperatures. They are austere and serious pokemon, who do not tolerate levity and grace. It is said that in the past it served as a mount of kings and queens of desert civilizations.Related content

Awesome Fakemon concept! I've always loved seahorses and went all giggly when I first saw Horsea and Seadra back in 1998. A seahorse that swims in the ground is long overdue - I'm so sick and tired of all those "sand shark" urban legends since the 1980s.
