desaturating the background really helped to bring out the tape, but not overly-so, because the tape is made of netural tones to begin with. very concious and perceptive choice of effects. great shot to begin with, and i like how cleanly you edited the twig hanging over the branch.

this piece is truely magnificant. the title and the image and the idea all compliment each other, making this a true masterpiece, and personally, one of the best pictures i think on DA. the subtle use of photoshop, the abstract visual, the meaningful title....genius. thank you for sharing this, like all your work with me-p.

I really like it. It reminds me of how I burn some things in our garden just to check out how good glue burns down a matchbox car, for example. It's a really fantastic work and inspires and motivates me to test photomounting in the next time. Thanks a lot!
