This is a picture of my baby boy, Kit. He absolutely loves to dig in sand-and no matter how excited he gets he constantly looks up to be sure that it's safe, and that his mommy (Me!) is nearby and watching over him.Related content

I was actually really lucky with this one. Kit was digging and being hyper as always, only a few of the like... fifty pictures I took of him that day turned out well, this is of course one of them.
I've noticed that unless they're sleeping, or tired, ferrets are quite hard to take pictures of, this one was luck rather then talent I think.

Ahh, ferrets. Their nature doesn't fail to give you fun pictures, at least. ...Though they're pretty amusing when asleep, too. xD

The sand doesnt irritate his eyes/ears? Does he eat it lol Im curious, I only had mine out in the yard.

It doesn't bother him enough to upset him. He sort of roots into it and digs, he'll stop to sneeze once and a while, but for the most part the sand does not irritate him. What I would recommend doing for you, is buy a plastic tub or a container with high walls (maybe two feet tall all around) and buy some sand. Put the sand at the bottom of the container, and once and a while let your ferrets play and dig in it. They will absolutely love it!
