Nice shot. I've seen many shots done with that technique and they have a fresh glow about them when they're done properly like this one. I think the ones I saw were Letterman and Belushi by Leibovitz.

shes really in the field. I used flash and exposed for her and underexposed the background..its a fashion technique that is used a lot. I did however blur the background slightly (which was probably a mistake) because I couldnt use a telephone lens to pull the img together since I was stuck on a coiled cord for my flash to camera since I dont have wireless radio slaves.
