What if Don Hertzfeldt was deep into Pokemon when he drew the "Rejected Cartoons"? Would they look like this?I get board... and my mind tends to wonder... Squirrels are fun... so I came up with the idea just from random thinking. And I just had to draw this! It was calling to me.
Honestly I have no F'n clue why I find the "Rejected Cartoons" Funny... But honestly I Can't stop Freaking laughing while I watch them. Me and my friend where watching Don's works today. I'm talking to all you people out there when I say this! On YouTube, Look up "Rejected Cartoons" and "Billys Balloon"! They are freaking hilarious!
Obviously the style is not mine. I do not own Pokemon or Don Hertzfeltd's works, or anything related to them. However I do own this piece of art.

RejectedxPokemon, never thought I would see the day...
Lucario's okay (The joke may have gone better with Alakazam or Mewtwo) But that Metapod is probably one of the greatest things I have ever seen. Rather well done there.

It was mostly a spur of the moment idea. I was kind of on a rejected kick at the time.
I never thought of Alakazam actually. Damn! It would've been harder to keep with the style and still make it recognizable, but ya it makes the spoon thing make a little more sense. It was either Metepod or Kakuna, but Metepod seemed to fit the shape better. Thanks.

It's just so weird that way. My friend has made a comic about it. And I know that I have an animation stored somewhere of a brick being chucked at the guy. It's just hard to not laugh...or make fun of it.
