I’m still alive! And look; finally, some art!
So this is my first completed piece on ProCreate. I’m still learning, and have no idea about shading and lighting, and faces are my bane, but I’m actually pleased with it!
This is art for another WinterIron fic I have planned, where Bucky is saved from drowning by Mer!Tony. Obsessed, he hunts down every whisper of mer he can find, and stumbles into the arms of HYDRA, where he is experimented on and turned into a mer/human hybrid.

TW: Non-consensual Body Mod and Torture.

The first tail was too heavy. It weighed Bucky down to the floor of the tank, unable to move. He almost drowned. The second, was too stiff. The third was too long.

“It is a good thing the serum worked,” Zola comments as he drills another connection into the base of Bucky’s spine. Bucky whimpers. “We would not have been able to trial as many tails otherwise. Soon, we shall begin experimenting on your lungs. I wonder if we can make it so that you can breathe underwater?” He finishes sealing the new tail to Bucky’s waist. Bucky weeps.
