Magneto is a leader of the "Brotherhood of Mutants", so I designed him in sort of a general's outfit. There was no point in having an old man be in a muscular skin tight suit as his power is all mental. I also added metal soles to his shoes as that makes him "walk on air".

Love it! Looks very close to what I want him to wear. Btw Have you ever seen Daniel Govar's or Gabriell Dell'Otto's designs of him? They both drew very similar outfits which just like yours have "general" elements Also Mags is old but he has a very athletic body! How dare you offend our mutant Lord and Master? i know he has a very athletic body.. but with my redesigns i dont necessarily follow marvel's history, i redesign the characters with my own take on the character inside and out...
just refer to the doc ock design i did



i have not seen the designs you mentioned... but on a random note, gabriel dellotto is one of my absolute favs!

Also I see a military uniform as a symbol of authority and Magneto is essentially a terrorist. But that said I think the artwork is terrific!
